Six snom Phones Compatible with Flowroute VoIP Services

snom 7xx, 8xx and M9 cordless phone systems have been enabled by snom technology, Inc. These phones are interoperable with Flowroute Wholesale VoIP services, and the company has around 35 interoperability partners around the world.

The chief operating director at snom, Mike Storella, said: "We are very pleased that our Lync-qualified phones are now interoperable with Flowroute's VoIP service. Our ongoing commitment to interoperability with innovative VoIP service providers like Flowroute is a win-win for customers looking for flexible, cost-effective, reliable voice service."

Established in 2007, Flowroute is a Seattle, Washington-based VoIP provider that has a VoIP system which separates voice packets and signalling streams via its international partner networks; this results in low-latency setup. 500 million minutes of customer call traffic per year on their network was reported by the company recently.

At present, snom phones that have been tested for compatibility with the Flowroute networks are snom 710, 720 and 760 UC editions, snom 821 and 870 and the M9 cordless. They all have snom's 8th generation SIP firmware. (CY) Link
