Zeacom Releases Communications Center 6.1

Zeacom has announced the release of the latest version of Zeacom Communications Center (ZCC), featuring mobility applications for Android, business intelligence features for contact centers, and further flexibility for PBX users who wish to integrate with Microsoft Lync.

ZCC version 6.1 comes with Executive Mobile, a mobility program for Android smartphones, as well as iPhone, Windows Mobile, and BlackBerry devices. It lets executives manage their communications while away from the desk, providing improved responsiveness and connectivity. Android users will also get Zeacom's Snapshot application, displaying contact center data and exception reporting for mobile managers. An iPad version will be made available soon.

Another new feature is the improved Wrapup Data Capture, which speeds up the post-call analysis and provides business intelligence to contact centers. Agents are provided with relevant options based on their previous selections, allowing them to select the wrapup data they need quickly. Another enhancement is the Microsoft Lync Gateway for PBX Users, which lets customers with PBX telephony systems take advantage of the desktop features Lync provides while still using their PBX desk phones for voice calls.
