AVST Introduces New Repartee Release

14 Jul 2010

Applied Voice and Speech Technologies, Inc. (AVST) announced its first release since the acquisition of Active Voice: the Repartee LX 11.3 and LXi 11.3, offering hospitality, voicemail, call processing, and many other features on a Linux-based platform. Repartee is designed for small and mid-sized businesses, and promises to cost-effectively manage voice communications, improve customer service, and increase productivity.

AVST obtained the Repartee line during its acquisition of Active Voice, and the release of LX and LXi are the first since then. Repartee provides critical communications features for hotel administrations and guess communications. Guest features include unlimited voicemail messages with message retrieval, automatic check-in/check-out, personalized greetings and wake-up call functionality. Administration features include broadcast messaging to all hotel guests (in the event of an emergency or hotel-wide outage, etc.), custom distribution lists, wake-up call reporting, attendant administration interface and more.

"As vendors try to compete in the growing unified messaging market, offerings for specific verticals become increasingly important," says UCStrategies Co-Founder Blair Pleasant. "With its Repartee products, AVST strengthens its focus and capabilities for the hospitality market, providing the features and functions that hotels require in order to improve the guest experience."

Repartee LX 11.3 and Repartee LX1 11.3 will be available within the next 30 days through AVST's resellers.
