Alteva to Showcase Hosted Voice and Microsoft Communications Services Integration

15 Sep 2010

Alteva has announced at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo that it is working with Microsoft to provide hosted UC solutions for smaller businesses, integrating communication and business processes for increased productivity and flexibility while streamlining costs and both increasing and managing growth.

In order to make the new technologies accessible to SMBs, Alteva is offering the UC solution to organizations that purchase ten or more phones through an IP phone rental program.

"Alteva is doing a good job at delivering Hosted UC by marrying Broadsoft Voice with Microsoft HMC (Hosted Messaging and Collaboration) and delivering a nice, seamless package that delivers good value to customers with their utility pricing model," says UCStrategies UC Expert David Yedwab. "In addition to providing its solution directly to end-users, Alteva is also developing a wholesale model to deliver the service though other providers on a white-label basis. The recent realignment of senior management, with David Cuthbert taking over as CEO and prior CEO, William Bumbernick, taking on the role of CIO - uniquely, Chief Innovation Officer - positions Alteva to grow."

Alteva has previously launched a suite of Microsoft Communication Services back in April, but this release provides another affordable way to leverage it with Alteva's enterprise hosted VoIP service.

The UC solution will be showcased at Channel Partners Conference & Expo from September 20-22 in Washington D.C., booth #4021. For more information, visit www.altevatel.com.
