Avaya Simplified UC from DoubleHorn

An Avaya-centric Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) solution is now being provided through DoubleHorn Communications, which is a Technology Partner in the Avaya DevConnect program. DoubleHorn's Avaya-compliant managed SIP Trunks and one of Avaya Aura Communication Manager 6.2, Avaya Aura Session Manager 6.3 or Avaya IP Office 8.1 are offered, and the MyDoubleHorn Communications Platform is also a part of this. Extra control of the UC&C environment is therefore provided.

SMEs with 20-2,000 employees are likely to benefit most from the new solutions, and most of these companies must overcome challenges in order to take full advantage of UC&C. Examples of challenges include: sourcing software and related hardware components from various vendors, making key capital expenditures, conducting testing to make sure interoperability of all components, asking employees with day-to-day infrastructure management for performance and availability, and dealing with numerous vendors whenever a problem comes up.

A bundle including all hardware, software and services in a single, managed solution has also been designed by DoubleHorn. This is backed by an end-to-end Service Level Agreement (SLA). Interoperability has been tested and proved by DoubleHorn with its Avaya-Compliant managed SIP trunk, Avaya UC&C platforms, and the underlying transport network.

Furthermore, MyDoubleHorn customer portal is offered by DoubleHorn. This is an online resource which enables customers to see how their UC&C network is performing; interact with DoubleHorn support; implements Direct Inward Dialing capabilities if needed; and extra SIP trunks whenever needed, on their own.
