IR Launches First Microsoft Certified Network Readiness Assessment Solution for Skype for Business Online

Prognosis UC Assessor eases migration to Skype for Business Online

IR, the global provider of experience management solutions for unified communications and contact centers, today announced the general availability of the IR Prognosis UC Assessor, a new network assessment solution optimized for Microsoft Skype for Business Online in Office 365. Prognosis UC Assessor is also the first network assessment solution certified by Microsoft for Skype for Business Online as part of the IT Pro Tools Partner Program. This tool can be used in conjunction with the new Skype Operations Framework.

Network quality and connectivity to the cloud is critical when planning and implementing a modern Skype for Business deployment leveraging the Office 365 cloud. Prognosis UC Assessor helps ensure a positive user experience of voice, video, and application sharing across the LAN/WAN and all the way up to Skype for Business Online in Office 365, before users are migrated to the new UC solution. UC Assessor will identify network quality and performance levels according to Skype for Business minimum requirements, and will help troubleshoot and remediate identified problem areas across the entire network path.

Earlier this year IR was named as a Gartner Cool Vendor for its innovative and unique method to deliver visibility specifically into Microsoft Skype for Business voice calls, with readiness to provide the same insight for Microsoft Skype for Business Online.
