Microsoft Expands FastTrack Customer Success Service by Robbie Pleasant

Microsoft’s FastTrack is undergoing an expansion, with its services extending to Windows 10 and Dynamics 365. At the same time, the support for Office 365 and Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS) continues to grow, including new support and certifications.

Microsoft FastTrack is a customer success service, made to help users realize business value with Microsoft Cloud. It offers a set of best practices, tools, resources, and experts to help users along the way, including ongoing access to FastTrack engineers, email and file migration for 150 seats or more, deployment architecture and guidance, and remote workshops for adoption.

Until now, FastTrack has only provided support for Office 365 and EMS customers. With this new expansion, however, it’s offering onboarding benefits to Windows 10 and Dynamics 365. The Windows 10 FastTrack provides tools, resources, and guidance to help customers migrate to Windows 10, while FastTrack for Dyanmics 365 teachers customers how to enable new users and expand user capabilities.

Additionally, the existing support for Office 365 is expanding. This includes new Microsoft Teams support – such as onboarding and user adoption services - Office 365 ProPlus best practices, and ISO and HIPPA certifications, among other updates. Customers with over 50 seats are eligible for FastTrack, and it’s automatically included as part of Office 365 for all customers with that many seats or more. In addition to the new services, it’s expanding to new areas, with support for six new languages, bringing the total languages supported to 31.

According to Blair Pleasant, co-founder of UCStrategies, “What I especially like about FastTrack is the focus on end user adoption. FastTrack will include Office 365 user adoption best practices, plus information and tools to help customers get the most out of their solution. Rather than just focusing on the technical aspects of deployment, FastTrack will provide adoption guidance, including adoption planning workshops, end user communication templates, a productivity library, end user training resources, and guidance for partners.” She adds, “User adoption is key to the success of any UC deployment, and with FastTrack, Microsoft is providing tools for both its partners and customers to help maximize user adoption of Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and other solutions.”
