16 Sep 2015

The world of web-based communications and WebRTC adoption is exploding. It seems that every day a new WebRTC announcement is made, and more and more communications are happening with the web paradigm. Enterprise communications and collaboration companies like Cisco, Vidyo, Lifesize, Citrix, Unify, and more are making WebRTC a core component of their overall strategy. Leaders like Amazon and Amex have used WebRTC to dramatically enhance their customer services. The interest in WebRTC continues to grow, but more importantly the interest in how real time is changing the web and how it is used for both traditional telecommunications as well as extending the range of web applications to include human interaction through real time services. While there is significant activity in traditional western markets, there is also an explosion of potential for real time web applications in eastern markets, especially China.

WebRTC Conference and Expo has become the leading WebRTC event in the world, and will grow that role as the Real Time on The Web Conference and Expo. By extending the event to include all of the technologies and business capabilities that real time brings to the web, the conference will address the broader range of issues beyond WebRTC as a technology as well as how real time can transform web applications and business models.

To grow the exposure and penetration of WebRTC and the webification of communications, WebRTC World has just announced two events. The first will be held in Beijing, China, November 10-12, 2015. The next event will be in New York City in August, 2016. These events, held in new locations for the conference, will enable a new range of developers and organizations to participate. China is clearly a potential explosion market, and the event is being co-produced by Agora, a leading optimized video cloud company. The New York event will bring the WebRTC and Real Time on the Web events to the largest media and interaction market, including hundreds of next generation applications companies that can include real time in the web and mobile applications through WebRTC.

Attending a Real Time on the Web is a great opportunity to understand how your organization, whether you are an enterprise, service provider, web site operator or entrepreneur can use Real Time on the Web to differentiate your apps and services.
