8x8 Announces New Cloud Contact Center Solution: ContactNow

8x8 has a new contact center solution aimed at teams and small contact center, called 8x8 ContactNow. This solution is designed to expand upon 8x8’s cloud contact center portfolio, adding solutions for a variety of teams, with flexible pricing models, designed to help companies set up and run a contact center quickly and easily.

8x8 ContactNow is an intelligent, scalable cloud contact center solution, offering options for teams such as marketing, recruiting, sales, human resources, and help desks, offered on a pay-as-you-go pricing model, which can be customized through self-service configuration. Companies can add and remove agents as needed to meet changing customer demand.

There are a number of features available in 8x8 ContactNow, such as customer engagement tools that dynamically route customer calls with a “drag and drop” visual IVR tool. It offers a “no-compromises” inbound calling solution, as well as outbound campaign management designed to improve call completion KPIs. The solution uses a web based interface that offers instant configuration and ease of administration, along with an iPad app for monitoring the solution, from which managers can access information in real-time no matter where they are.

The solution aims to improve agent quality and performance through its call monitoring and recording, along with predictive outbound dialing (so as to save time over manual dialing). With the solution’s run-time reporting, managers can gain employee and business insights, through which agents can improve their performance.

“Most contact center solutions focus on formal call centers and ignore teams and what we sometimes call ‘informal contact centers,’ which can also benefit from intelligent call routing, reporting, and analytics,” says Blair Pleasant, co-founder of UCStrategies.
