Intermedia Announces AnyMeeting Acquisition

Intermedia has announced a new acquisition, with the purchase of AnyMeeting. With this acquisition, Intermedia will be able to provide an enhanced Unified Communications experience, alongside its current Cloud Voice solution, adding a new suite of collaboration applications to its UCaaS offering.

AnyMeeting, a provider of web and video conferencing and webinar services, currently serves more than a million registered users. It provides collaboration solutions built for small and mid-sized businesses, and the company states that reliability of service is its top priority.

Following the acquisition, Intermedia will be able to enhance its UCaaS offering with a suite of applications, expanding it to be the company’s largest product line. Currently, Intermedia delivers around 30 integrated cloud business applications through over 6,500 channel partners, and by adding AnyMeeting’s collaboration solutions, the number of applications and features it can provide will soon grow.

SMBs will still be able to access the cloud products and features offered by Intermedia, which includes voice conferencing, Skype for Business, and Office 365, with the addition of AnyMeeting’s technology, which will add new features for web conferencing, webinars, and video conferences.

The financial terms of the acquisition have not yet been disclosed. Solution integration work is currently underway, and the first offering is expected to be available early 2018. AnyMeeting’s current services will remain available without any interruption in services.
