PGi Launches GlobalMeet 5.0

PGi has launched the latest version of its unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) product: GlobalMeet 5.0. This new edition aims to provide a better experience for users by letting them easily join and participate in online meetings, while providing more effective team engagement and collaboration than previous versions.

GlobalMeet leverages HTML5 and WebRTC technologies, so as to provide an intuitive user experience and live user support at any time. Based on user testing and feedback, it features redesigned web conferencing features for screen sharing and audio controls from within a web meeting.

Additionally, the new version of GlobalMeet offers one-click access to meetings from any browser. PGi states that regardless of what device or browser meeting participants are using, GlobalMeet will offer a consistent and full-featured experience, with audio quality from PGi’s cloud-based global audio network.
