8x8, Inc. has announced a new Communications Cloud, combining unified communications, team collaboration interoperability, contact center, and real-time analytics into a single platform. This new solution, the 8x8 Communications Cloud, is an interoperable platform, designed to allow cross-team messaging and collaboration, along with several new integrations with popular enterprise applications, and new open APIs.

8x8 announced that Regus selected 8x8 as its provider for 2,500 locations.

Regus operates business centers with a range of products and services including office space, meeting facilities, business lounges, business continuity-recovery spaces, answering service, and support services in 106 countries. The company is based in Luxembourg and listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Just like some sharks that must swim constantly to stay alive, business communication companies must innovate in order to survive and thrive. 8x8 recently demonstrates its ability to innovate as the company celebrated the award of its 100^th patent. In fact, they received number 99 and 100 on the same day.
