VoIP provider VocalCloud has been purchased by Digium in a recent move whereby the latter will be able to strengthen its portfolio of cloud-based Unified Communications (UC) products and services.
The deal closed on August 30, but the details have not been disclosed, according to Huntsville, Alabama-based Digium.
Digium announces that it has expanded its Switchvox line of unified communications (UC) appliances with the addition of Asterisk-based Switchvox 450 and Switchvox 470, both of which are designed to meet the IP phone system needs of small and midsize businesses (SMBs).
Digium announced its annual Pinnacle Partner award winners based on their annual sales from 2012 and commitment to excellent customer satisfaction. Channel partners for both Asterisk and Switchvox are recognized for developing and growing the relationship. These partners are certified to sell Digium's full offering of unified communications (UC) and VoIP solutions, Asterisk hardware, IP phones, gateways, telephony cards and redundancy appliances.
