I have been a strong advocate of the three input headset. Having a single headset device on the desk that can easily interface to the desk phone, mobile devices, and a PC/USB port is a great way to enhance UC adoption and simplify the process. In US deployments, training users to use the headset for all communications is a good step to potentially eliminating desktop phones for many users. It also eliminates the complexity of changing headsets based on the device used.
