Leading global provider to offer award-winning UC diagnostics toolkit to vast network of global managed service providers and resellers

Sonus Networks is a SIP infrastructure specialist which is directing more resources towards its still-new, yet fast progressing channel program, and it seems as though its transformation will continue from an exclusively carrier-focused company to mainstay in the enterprise session border controller (SBC) market.

The drive towards cloud computing has resulted in a new strategic partnership between Greenville, South Carolina-based value-added distributor ScanSource and Petaluma, California-based technology services distributor Intelisys. This alliance is expected to be announced early next week and will benefit channel partners to engage suppliers and resources that are needed to successfully strengthen a services-based business model.

Cisco's distributor, Scansource, is being repositioned so that it can include the company's voice, video and collaboration solutions.

The whole Cisco practice will be moved by ScanSource from its Security unit to its Catalyst Telecom unit which focuses on unified communications collaboration. In this past, only Cisco security and networking gear was part of the Cisco practise.

ScanSource, Inc. announces that it has shifted its Cisco practice from the Security business unit to the Catalyst business unit, which is a distributor of networking solutions and support, as well as video and voice.
